A&A Re-hilt

This Sword is a re-hilted Arms & Armor blade. The blade was lightly sanded and about 1.5 inches was added to the length of the tang. The blade was otherwise unmodified. The guard and pommel are sculptural qualty silicon bronze. The pommel is keyed and hot peened to the tang. The guard is banzaipeened to the tang. The design of the guard was inspired by a sword made by David DelaGardelle called "Red River Guardian". That sword's guard had an interesting pinch and swell shape which has a similar look to what I've done with this guard by offsetting and changing it's shape along its length.

This sword is not available but a similar sword could be commissioned. The cost for a re-hilt on a client provided blade is generally $1800 - $2400.
